We spent the morning in Lima walking around and ended up down at the water. It was relaxing. Then after lunch we joined up with our Globus tour group to start the last segment of our South American journey. As you might expect, we did a city tour for the afternoon and I found it quite interesting. Unfortunately, with groups like this the photographic opportunities are quite limited. You just can't loiter around looking for good stuff. So today I chose something easy to shoot and historically interesting. This is Francisco Pizarro's tomb. Pizarro conquered Peru with 200 soldiers. He set up his capital in Lima. He was assasinated in 1541.
