Just a bit north of Quito is the equator. A couple years ago we had the opportunity to stand astride the Prime Meridian in Greenwich, England. Now we have had the chance to stand astride the equator. That was pretty cool. Tomorrow is the autumnal equinox. If we are outside a local noon we should not be able to see our shadows. I hope we get the chance. One of those bucket list things, I guess.
