Today was the last day of training. I spent the morning with some other rangers getting all the stuff hauled out to the fort. Formal programs begin on Monday so all the interpretive materials and fort furnishings needed to be put in the fort. Another contingent went for canoe training at Coffenberry Lake at Fort Stevens. I went over there after lunch to take some photos. We do a kayak/canoe float trip five days per week. It is very popular. Me, personally, I am not interested in the program which is fine. I work at the fort and lead hikes. Another reason is that it is damn cold here and I am not interested in shivering. All the staff participants really like it, however.
