David and I went out on a driving tour of the refineries and chemical plants along the Houston ship channel. He was interested in finding out more about them and I knew a little bit, so off we went. When we got to the Lyondell refinery, they were preparing for a very big lift. The crane on the left is preparing to lift a giant vacuum pipestill cover into position in the next few days. The tall crane on the right is there to assemble the other one. David and I were impressed with the tons of steel present to make the lift.
