You know you are getting starved for excitement when the appearance of a brand new outhouse is the highlight of your day. I did the 6.5 mile Fort to Sea trail today as a patrol to see that everything is in order. When I got to the spot where there were porta potties in the past, my eyes beheld this magnificent new chemical toilet. Gosh is was great. I got a feeling that some of the Obama Stimulus money made its way to Fort Clatsop.
