Eastbound and down, loaded up and trucking. This is the view of the motorhome and the towed car just before I headed back east to the farm. It was an uneventful trip. I managed to handle gear shifting a lot better and avoided getting the engine real hot. We had a real good time in the motorhome, had some visitors and enjoyed having a portable hotel room.
It isn't all that hard to do. I did it in two iterations. The trick is to get a little too close and rest the hitch on the ball then slowly back up and correct left and right with the steering wheel. The hitch just drops into place.
