I went out to Bay Area Park today for a little photography. It has been six months since hurricane Ike struck. There is still quite a bit of work to do. This is the boardwalk out over the swamp. Knowing county government, this will be a long time in this condition. Too bad, the boardwalk was very pleasant.
Say out loud the federal government slogan,"What's mine is mine and what's yours is negotiable." The follow-on corollary to that is "You don't get to negotiate!"
