My Grandpa (Chester Laufer) directed the music at this Church and my Grandmother played Piano. Chester also ran the Post Office down the street and was a Ham Radio Operator with the Call Sign K5RKW. They lived right across the street and were there at the Church about every day. My parents were married in this church, My Mom was the daughter of Chester and Mildred Laufer. I used to visit here countless times as a kid growing up and still drive through this literally, "1 street town" of Hochheim on occasion with family when we are out in the area. Tears and smiles always follow the visits. -Paul Daniels (Austin, TX).
