WELL I GOT TO TELL YOU...I WANT ALL MY LOVELY LADIES TO LOOK FABULOUS...FLYING COLOURS WAS A WAY TO MAKE MONEY...LIKE THE CONDITIONING RINSES WERE...BUT THE CONDITIONING RINSES WORKED..PAINTING ON COLOUR WAS WHAT THE FRENCH HAD DONE AND STILL DO..IT WAS JUST
A QUICK NAFF WAY TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OF CLIENTS..WHAT NEXT...PLASTIC BAG HIGH LIGHTS..
P.S.WE WERE TOLD AT THE TIME IT WAS JUST TO GET THE CLIENTS TO SPEND MORE MONEY..NOTHING TO DO WITH LOOKING GOOD....OWEN XXXX
Peter Waters cannot clame to be the inventor but he was one of the first to do the styles as he worked under FLINT Whincop who was the inventor.

Not such a 'stupid' idea! Great way to use up those little ends of tubes of colors ;-)
what I would like to know...who's idea was it?? I trained under a man named Peter Waters who claimed to have been Annie Humphreys right hand man for 15 years (wasn't everyone?) Now he claimed to have invented flying colors ,his inspiration being the fall colors on the trees in Canada when he first moved here from London England. The principal still stands today. When you place a primary color next to a secondary color...the primary will come forward in its truist light! Gotta love it!
