A bird of prey.

I know this is not a best quality photo, but it almost gets up to bad quality level
This is the first bird of prey that I have seen reasonably close, so a bad picture is better than no picture at all.
Taken long distance at 16x digital zoom on a dark, cold foggy day, and cropped out of the centre of the photo.
I really hope to improve on this later on in the year.

John this is a Kestrel, so youre right - 'a bird of prey'.

It's very difficult to capture birds who are designed to blend in. I'd say both of you have great eyes.
