24. Batteries fitted

Because the boat is quite narrow, I fitted two six volt batteries in series to make a twelve volt system. With their narrow shape I placed the boat in a bath full of water and moved them about to find the best position. The two batteries weigh more than the rest of the boat.
I now have to tidy up the wiring, it was a bit temporary to see if it all worked first.

Definitely drunk first Exzim, can't have extraneous weight slowing the boat down.
I am very impatient to see how fast it goes.

Where is the contraband booze stored, or is it drunk before the boat gets into the water ?

Dave,
Because I built this from scratch, i.e. no proper plans or instructions.
I have no idea how fast it is or how well it will perform.
Of course I am hoping it will outrun or outmanoeuvre torpedoes and suicide boats.

Let's hope that the day you place it in a pond or lake there is not a person there operating a model submarine that has working torpedoes.
