Looking at boats on the internet, I came across the 1925 speedboat Baby Bootlegger.
I liked it so I decided to make a radio controlled model.
The first photo is the frame made out of balsa wood.
It will be planked in one eighth balsa planks, and then one sixteenth mahogany.
This could take me a while as my hands dont work so well now.
February, bit of a delay, the model shop sent all the wrong parts, sent them back, two weeks later and they said I should have them in another week.
First change in my plans.
I do not have enough fine control in my hands to put mahogany planking on the boat.
So it will now be covered in a layer of fibreglass and painted.

Paul, the boat is in very good condition. Luckily the small amount of water that got inside the boat never touched the electricals.
I will return.
The workshop is getting a bit untidy again, I need more room.
