Dorothy Greynolds Class Gallery

We had SOOOOO much fun with Dorothy! She's a fantastic teacher and
a fun person to boot. We ran her ragged. :::snicker:::
(but I think she liked it)

Anyway.. here's some of the great pictures Helen took throughout the
class. Thanks Helen! Maybe you all can get a feel for how much fun
we had! (seems unlikely though... we had a LOT of fun!)

Well, Dorothy arrived on friday & this was the first thing to catch my eye. It was on her bright orange jacket... which we used to spot her on all our later excursions.

 After we picked her up, we decided to go to a local gallery. We made a stop at a rock & bead shop first. The owner offered to let us root through his warehouse!!! Hours later we left there and went to a kitchen store. Then hunger took over and we went to a wonderful seafood buffet for a liesurely dinner. We never did make it to the gallery. :::grin::: We got a bunch of flat backed rhinestones & other sparklies for embedding in clay... then we all split everything with each other. I think we ended up with 43 different beads.

We got right to work Saturday morning... starting with blends!

It had NOTHING at all to do with the huge rubber stamp show going on down at the beach. Nope. Nuthin' at all. However.. since we HAD to stop... it would be a shame to miss it. Right?

I stumbled onto this page and absorbed this creativity for an hour! How talented and imaginative you gals are! What do you do with all the pieces...sell them, trade them? Looks like you had tremendous fun. Thanks for sharing. Jackie Dunford

Thanks so much for hosting this Joanie. I had a wonderful time. Joanie is certainly the hostess with the mostess. Right down to fresh baked cookies!
Dorothy runs a well organized, informative class. This workshop taught me a lot. Even without the workshop these are great ladies to spend the day with. Hope to do it again some time soon. (Hint, hint).

Thanks Corinne, we wish you had been here too... what fun that would have been!
Helen would've been thrilled & I would've been too. Helen's such a sweetie & I was afraid
she might not be up to this. So having her there was a special treat for all of us.

Hey!!!!!!! I wish I had have been there too!!!!!!!! What FUN! Helen, my sister, told me what a great time she had with you all of you so when I got this site from her, I was thrilled to see just what awesome, creative things you were doing. AND the stamp show. LIFE IS GOOD.

I loved the pond shot too.
