Tonight's Moon

Fort Loramie, Ohio

Tonight's moon photo. I'm not a big fan of the new term "supermoon", as the moon is within 1% of being this close to earth very frequently. (like 12 times a year, but not always at full moon) A few hundred or a few thousand miles isn't much of a difference when you are talking about 225,000 miles.

A very nice image of it, Jack.

Nice work, Jack! You are right, in the limitless depths of space, 225,000 miles is a drop in a bucket, or less. :)
