This was a fun place to visit. The first beach shot (a view to the NNW) is misleading of how crowded and popular this venue can be, especially in the "off-season." This beach was more crowded than any I've visited before with the parking, although prolific, at capacity when I arrived in the early afternoon. It was nonetheless a worthwhile birding stop as I captured at least one image I will be entering in Audubon's first annual photography contest. A gallery of my entries for 2009 with a link to how you may enter as well with hopes you have the interest to participate . . . ( https://pbase.com/jkrnm5/2009_audubon_contest
