Athene cunicularia floridana

Burrowing Owl near Cape Coral Library
Cape Coral, Florida USA

Here's an example of some poor decision making with regard to camera settings.
In my attempt to have both unobserved before birds in focus while controlling the aperture
very small, it resulted in a much slower shutter speed, with both birds ultimately becoming
distorted unnecessarily. In the future, I will keep the shutter speed more appropriate for
the reasonable lighting at the sacrifice of the hope or what evidently can't be done
at least under the circumstances. I moved on from this nest after a brief observation.
