San Carlos Bay: Bunche Beach Preserve
Fort Myers, Florida USA

I had the opportunity to speak with Dennis whom was visiting the preserve from
Lehigh Acres. With my great attention, we discussed Harnes Marsh Preserve among
other subjects. Dennis told me of the cutting of trees at Bunche Beach
which has resulted in an unnatural erosive impact on the beach which has evidently
exposed mangrove roots along the shore line which I strongly encourage
you to pay particular attention to as I've nearly tripped over one in the past.
Dennis was shooting with a Sony camera and I recommended he get the Nikon D80
with the 70-300mm AF VR. He was here observing the prolific Black Skimmer.
