Rostrhamus sociabilis

Snail Kite at Harns Marsh Preserve
Lehigh Acres, Florida USA

The flight of the bird was caused by the vultures that crowded its space.
I will be more prepared for better focus on my next visit to the venue. I had a full
five minutes to judge the exposure between full wide open and f8. The latter
didn't help in this particular image for sure.

Cool shot with a snail!

I have discounted the value of ISO over the years, Rodrigo, due to poor results. I think the 5dm2 has great potential to push the ISO well beyond expectations with the camera's technology driven capability. Thanks for making your point. I actually was thinking the ISO setting of the shot was unnecessarily high with what appeared to be strong light at the time, but won't hesitate to use 800 in the future. Please also be aware that I'm uploading images at slightly above or below 100 KB at this time. The originals look, well, much better.

You almost got a real winner here. I think you can increase the iso a bit as well.
