Ardea alba
Great Egret with juvenile at San Carlos Bay: Bunche Beach Preserve
Fort Myers, Florida USA
The juvenile appeared to be extremely hungry when the parent arrived at the nest.
The juvenile clamped its bill on the legs of the parent numerous times before the adult
flew off and returned to make a very brief effort to feed what it had to offer.
