Laughing Gull with Atlantic bumper (Chloroscombrus chrysurus) at Lovers Key State Park
Fort Myers Beach, Florida USA
After numerous attempts, the gull was not able to eat the fish following
the theft of it from the Sandwich Tern, at right. I had considered entering this shot
uncropped in the 2008 National Geographic International Photo Contest.
