~~ On my way home... ~~

I was sitting at the train today and I saw this gentleman with a beautiful white hair
and I just took a picture... hopefully you guys won't get bored with all the things
and places I see every day... :), sometimes we don't need any special
reason to take a picture, sometimes we don't plan it... it just happens!
***
I use ISO 1600 because I wanted to add more grains to this picture,
since I was planning to convert it to B&W at the end. Nice exercise...

F-stop: 5.0
ISO speed: 1600

i like what i see here a lot. this tells me that you are able to "see pictures" in mundane situations; this is a great skill to be cherished and honed. i like how blocks of light frame this shot. and most of all i like that mood of a tired, crowded, quiet and noisy at the same time, with everyone in their bubbles of alienation. i love shots like this one. thus, i vote(d).

very nice image, of something we all see, every so often... B&W does suit this subject so well

Wow, this is a great shot!

Well done Josy - it's the ordinary rendered extraordinary which makes for good photography. In this case the light on the silver hair of the man in front of you makes for a very visually appealing image and inspires, in me anyhow, an indefineable feeling or mood.

I think these unplanned moments make the best pictures. Your pictures are far, far from boring.

I like the mysterious air about it and the grain really works.

I think this is good "street photography" even though there isn't a street in sight!

Very insightful. We're *not* bored! Bringing us into this man's world added something to our day.

Nie composition and exposure. I'm in no danger of getting bored; I find it fascinating to look at others PAD galleries to see what inspires them each day.

I like it

Very nice image... B&W makes this. Bravo

One of the reasons I enjoy others' PAD projects is exemplified by this very image...I could never get tired of 'the fleeting moments,' and especially 'the decisive moments,' but the latter are more difficult to come by.... :)
