The image is typical of the ongoing struggle in the valley to maintain it's rural appeal. The annual ballonfest is framed on one side by the ever encroaching Wolf Creek Resort area and by part of the blooming residential growth in the foreground. I fear greatly for the rural atmosphere and beauty of this wonderful area if growth is left unchecked.
