Niagara Falls – From the US Side

Walking along the US side of Niagara Falls provided me with several incredible views of both falls including the ability to see Horseshoe Falls from over the raging waters of the US Falls. Being on the US Observation Tower as well as crossing Rainbow Bridge provided two other great locations to see both falls while Goat Island offered separate close up views of each.

As I walked across Rainbow Bridge I came across the center point of the bridge which marked the international boundary line between the United States and Canada, each country’s flag flying on their respective sides. Even though I never cleared Canadian customs I had to declare my citizenship upon “returning” to the US. Technically if you were to forget your passport you could forever be stuck on Rainbow Bridge, a man without a country…but what a view your new home would have!
