All sketches and drawings were done from scratch..
These drawings have been made in a strict freehand fashion, from direct observation and visual perception alone **
*NO aids, such as grids, projectors, tracing, optical or mechanical devices were used at any stage, on these pieces.*
I like striving for a realistic(ish) look, but I am not into photo-cloning, so popular among artisans that skip the drawing stages, by tracing, gridding or projecting a photograph, then, concentrating on the tonal value/shading, do great jobs cloning every feature until they have a beautiful photo-clone (but, Not a drawing).

I am in the process of learning how to draw and I prefer doing it using the traditional ways by sketching, doing preliminary sketches, gesture/line drawing, all in a strict freehand fashion...

These drawings don't pretend to be finished art pieces, as I am practicing for getting the "wireframe"/foundation of the drawing, which could (at a later date)be finished as a graphite/color-pencil drawing, watercolor, oil painting..etc.....

Therefore, the viewer will be able to witness a glimpse of the raw thinking process going on my mind when creating a drawing.
This type of works have a logical place and meaning to the 'freehand' artist, and won't mean much to those artists using drawing aids (grids, tracing, projecting) , as they skip these struggling/drawing stages altogether...
