The upload catch-up from the weekend continues...
This shot was taken at the Gunks, again. I was driving from the campground to town where I was going to get a pumpkin muffin when I was treated to this site. That's Skytop in the distance and the light was cooperating just fine. I stopped my car on the road shoulder and hopped out with my trusty Digital Elph. Not so trustly after all, since it gave me the horrible "memory card error" message on my third shot or so. Luckily, I stuck it into my armpit (not a gesture of affection, but rather to warm it) and it started working again. I guess it was protesting the cold morning temperature or the early rise. Eather way, it allowed me to capture this image that was certainly making an impression on my soul. Lovely place, warm light, and a yummy pumkin muffin. Came close but different fall into the bog. No bad...
