You are all way too kind! Thanks for the great feedback. So, you want my secret about the eyes, huh? I make a loose selection around the eyes and copy it to a new layer in Photoshop. I then adjust levels to get the look I want. I then use a soft edge eraser to get rid of all the surrounding area, leaving only the iris and pupil. I sometimes lighten the whites of the eyes also. I then adjust the opacity of the layer to make the eye look detailed and bright, but not too fake! There, the secret is out. It is all Photoshop trickery! The detail is there in the original photo, but it needs a little help to get to this stage!
Wow!!! Awesome job with the lighting. Great control!

Thumbs up! Fantastic dramatic lighting ... and I would honestly love to hear your secret for getting eyes to look like that. All of your portraits have that trademark wet, clean, sharp look ... how the heck do you do that?
Forget the face (not that it isn't gorgeous of course) but that left eye is amazing. It is almost like there is a whole world to see in there. Really really nice.
