Lassen Volcanic National Park, May 2012

While coming here for the eclipse May 19-21, 2012, we also wanted to enjoy Lassen itself as it is a beautiful park. Unfortunatly the road through the park connecting the North and South sides of the park was still closed by over 8 foot of snow at the top! So, we explored the North side on Saturday afternoon, and the South side on Sunday morning. We also made a brief stop at McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park, which is near Lassen on our way home to get a shot of Burney Falls!
