This gallery covers the first two full days of my trip there. It includes scenics I took on the first day (after helicopter flight rescheduled due to weather). It also includes the very early (4 AM) Lava Boat on the second day (with more time spent trying to get a helicopter flight that didn’t go due to mechanical problems), and finally a photo of one of the endangered Silverswords up at the Mauna Kea Visitor Information Station at 9,200 feet elevation.
