This national monument, near Grand Junction and Fruita, Colorado, throws in aspects of Monument Valley, and Zion, and Canyonlands National Parks, and even a Balanced Rock like Arches National Park. Then Rim Rock Drive provides 23 miles along the plateau rim with lots of pullouts for views. It also has a good number of trails which we did not have time for on this visit. This is another first time visit for us and we were again very impressed! We drove from the Southeast entrance through to the North Entrance.
