Located on Navajo land spanning the border of Utah & Arizona, Monument Valley offers what has come to represent the romantic notion of America's rugged southwest scenery. Since John Ford's 1939 classic western "Stagecoach," the desert sand to soaring red buttes of Monument Valley have been filmed and photographed countless times. From decades of movies to the cover of a Led Zeppelin collection, the stark and spectacular scenery has found it's way into popular culture.
