I See Red Carpet

Feb 2013 Challenge - Seeing Red - #11

This church has a very VALUABLE heritage:
The catholic church of St Peter and St Paul, was built by Czech Settlers.
Puhoi, located approximately 50km north of Auckland, New Zealand
was settled by Europeans in 1863 by a group of Czech migrants from Bohemia,
now a province of the Czech Republic.
Puhoi has given it the name of "Bohemian Settlement".

Wonderful find. Trying to identify the painting. I think I've seen it before, but can't recall the artist.

At the same time, Texas was getting a lot of Czech immigrants. Some Central Texas towns have citizens who still speak Czech! Love the church, it is very pretty!
