Weekly Challenge #73 - Natural Abstraction

At Home

I have no idea what this plant is,
but those abstract markings on the leaves are certainly strange.
It's as if a bucket of yellow paint was thrown over them all.

Thanks Jola and Lynn - Yes it is a Croton.
Quoting the website:
"Crotons! God had fun creating them!
Crotons (Scientific name: Cordiaeum Variegatum, Family: Euphorbiaceae) were created when God decided to have fun with paint and brush, I believe!"

Cool plant. Looks like someone shook a paint brush on these leaves :-)

Yes, I think it is a member of Croton, too. Wonderful photo, you captured the gloss on the leaves perfectly. V,

Beautiful plant, I had one like this, this is one of the Crotons family.
I think in English it is called Gold Dust Croton
