11th Face of March 2011

Auckland City

This 82 year old lady bought a computer 6 months ago and is very keen to learn how to use it.
She has driven me mad many times ringing me up and asking questions - like:
"Drafts? No I haven't got that word here" (On Microsoft Outlook)
"Why can't I do this? ...or that?"
"I've lost my Games."
"Where has so and so's name gone?"
"I'll never go on the internet"
"Oh, this internet is so interesting"
"Do you want to know how many people called Gary O'Connor live in England?"
"Oh, this is fun..."

Sounds like my Mom. She's a computer junkie now. My dad, not so much. He reads his email and scans the internet periodically until Mom runs him off. LOL! Great shot of this beautiful lady. Learning something new keeps her going strong! V

I see a gleam in her eye... mischief perhaps?

An excellent portrait that captures the character of this woman.
