It's really about what you're capturing, not so much as what took the picture. I just wish people would learn to not jerk their phones when they're trying to capture images. I've seen so many pictures ruined by camera shake. One of the online photographers I follow used to use the most varied and expensive equipment in his travels. Now he only uses an IPhone.
Sorry, Jane, I was influenced by Helen Betts' comments just above the comment block, and called you by the wrong name - I will try to do better next time!
Right you are , Helen! I can see the day coming when smartphone camera will be the go-to camera of choice. Your subject surely seems to be enjoying his experience! V
The photo quality has come a long way in cell phones and it's nice to always have a camera handy- but there's little chance that I'll be ditching my photo gear any time soon to switch over completely.
image quality from phones has clearly taken giant strides forwards, and of course the pix can easily be shared...his gleeful expression is delightful..
Great capture of this sign of the times. I used to always carry a small camera with me, but now I rely only on my iPhone, which generally takes excellent pictures. It's also nice to see how many people are into taking pictures because of the cell phones! V.
