My Last Photo of Juliet

Little did I know when I took this shot it would be my
last photo of Juliet. In her youthful exuberance she ran
out into the street and was struck and killed by a car.
She did not suffer and there was not a mark on her. Her owner
called me and when I picked her up it was as if she was sleeping.
She was still so beautiful. I handed her to her Mom and we
both cried a river of tears.

I am thankful I have so many photos to remember this wonderful
dog. She lived life to the fullest every day, was loved by all and will
always be remembered.

Dear Jane. your words for your last image not only speaks about Juliet a wonderful friend but it speak about you as a person.
You are a wonderful person and have a heart of gold.
That is something I already knew but today I want you to know that I recognize that in you.

So sad, but a precious memory.
Those who have lost a dear animal companion know the special pain.
