A Slice of Life
Every morning when the sun
Shines in the backdoor
Della and I watch for squirrels
I'm sure we could catch one
If mom would just open
The door more quickly
Hey, Who Turned The Lights Out
Running through the woods went I
When what should land upon my eyes
But a brown leaf that could not fly
I stayed on course and leapt the log
Because I'm Tug the Superdog
Concerned
I was a little concerned when we were
At the beach the other night
Our friend Marisol and Tug
Were very happy to see each other
Marisol told me not to worry
I was still her special girl and
No silly puppy would ever take my place
Then we ran and ran together
While Tug was off eating something gross
Sunset Visitor
We went down to our favorite
Beach last night
It was warm and quiet and peaceful
Then I saw one of my favorite people
I could hardly control my delight
The Captain and Tennille
Trick or treat
I was suppose to be Tennille
But somebody wouldn't wear the hat
Backseat Driver
Sometimes when I drive with Mom
I don't know if we are coming or going
The Look
Whenever we go to the beach
We all like to run around in the
High grass to dry off
Sometimes it can get a little wild
All Della needs to do is give
"The Look" with those piercing
Blue eyes and everyone cools it
The Thief
Every so often when Della is not looking
I can steal her Frisbee
I have learned to keep an eye out for her
Or success will elude me
Running With the Pack
I have tried to impress on Tug
The importance of keeping an
Eye on mom while we are at the park
But no, here he is following the pack
Looking like a silly goon
Little brothers can be so frustrating
at times
The Top of the World
Last weekend we went to the top of the world
You could see forever
Dad said if we looked to the North
We might see Baldr and the Man running around in the woods
Tug wanted to know who they were
I told him they were friends of
Ours who have adventures just like us
He said he wanted to meet them
Soon I told my little brother, soon
The Man and Baldr are just collecting adventures
They are saving them up so they will have lots
To tell us when it gets cold again
The Sweet Look
I am a year old now but Mom and Dad
Say I am still a work in progress
I have learned that when I do something
Naughty they usually forgive me when
I give them the Sweet Look
