Dehang Village in the foreground. The circle is where the Hmong drum ceremony is performed.

This view is from a karst overlooking the village. The hike is up very steep terrain and takes about 2 hours. The last few hundred yards was closed off but since we had come so far we were not about to turn around. Opening the wired closed gate, we continued up a very steep and narrow path. Once on top we were greeted by a fantastic 360 degree view of the area.
