The US Navy with personnel from a number of countries, on July 3rd, 2011, brought free care to the island of Pohnpei. Medical checkups and prescriptions, eye care, dentistry and veterinary service that includes surgery on small and large animals will last for almost 2 weeks.

A crew of almost 800 are stationed aboard the USS Cleveland, which will be decommissioned upon returning to the United States after serving for 44 years being commissioned in 1967.
