Hayedo de Tejera Negra

El Hayedo de Tejera Negra está configurado por los ríos Lillas y Zarzas, que nacen en el valle glaciar de la Buitrera y por un representativo y excepcional bosque de hayas, uno de los más meridionales de Europa, conservado gracias a su especial microclima y aislamiento.

The Hayedo de Tejera Negra comprises the rivers Lillas and Zarzas, born in the Buitrera glacier valley, as well as a representative and exceptional beech-tree forest, one of the southernmost forests in Europe. The Park’s microclimate, together with its isolation, have allowed the preservation of its singular plants.
