Testing which settings are best for capturing action - especially pets. I found that IA (Intelligent Auto) gave me the best results because I didn't have to fiddle with camera settings to capture my subjects. Color balance and dynamic range were handled very well. I was amazed at how it handled strong contrast. Focus can't keep up with really fast action, like that of playful kittens, perhaps if the light was even and bright shutter priority mode would work better.
