_MG_2133 Return Visit

This particular belamcanda (Blackberry Lily) plant attracts the Blinded Sphynx Moth. Last year there was a mating pair in the very same location ( http://www.pbase.com/isabel95/image/82340335 )but that was quite a bit later in the season. Was quite windy this morning and flash images didn't look nice with the harsh shadow. Wish I could have had a higher shutter speed.

Looks like one I get here after the ficus tree leaves. They can be scary. Mine is pretty big.
