Since I put black oil sunflower seed in the squirrel feeder this guy (girl?) has been visiting regularly.

It is a wonderful treat spying these creatures through my windows and doors! They're extremely shy and hard to catch! I always seem to have trouble getting the heads in focus, because in order to get a fast enough shutter speed to catch them I have to open the aperture (even though I use a higher ISO), so the depth of field is too shallow to get everything in focus. I use a lot of sharpening on the head!

I think it's a girl...the boys have "beards" I think. Gosh, I'd be shicked to look out the window and see that big girl at the feeder! Great picture!
