Went just so far with the homework (Painter 8, part 2 at EclecticAcademy.com) and decided to veer off in a different direction because I really liked working with the watercolor cloner. Found I had to turn the opacity way down to about 10% to get the effect I wanted. The camel oil cloner didn't make it on the grass so I used an eraser to tone it down and then filled in with the watercolor cloner. I have no idea why the red fringe arrived around the edges...just one of the "bonuses" of working with Painter, I guess.
