Just received it yesterday. It will be placed on the ground outside in view of the sidelight by my front door. Hopefully I will be able to shoot some birds bathing in it. It will be surrounded by woodchips so it will integrate into the landscape neatly. The surface is covered with rough sand so the birds will have secure footing. One end is shallower than the other.
