PA290065 Next Year's Geraniums

First time I've tried to overwinter bare (almost) root geraniums. In the late winter I will trim them and root them in a soilless mix of peat moss and perlite, adding liquid fertilizer when they begin to leaf out. This is my storage room downstairs and the lights won't be on, unless I go in there and I need the light.

This video is what gave me the idea to do this after I realized I just wasn't going to have enough room in the garage for all my potted geraniums: http://www.gardengatemagazine.com/overwinter-geraniums/

Oh yes - I see, mine are still in the flower boxes, still blooming beautifully - a last act of resistance..

I do the same here but ... I cut off all the branches! The rest is the same as you! Seems to work! But I think I'll do as you did next time, leave the branches on!
