I never know what I'm going to see when I carefully drive past this farm on the way to my exercise class.

This morning the turkeys got adventurous and just flew over the low fencing of their enclosure and were walking across the road in front of me.

I got out of the care and was surprised that they weren't at all shy like the wild turkeys who visit me in my community.

It was almost as if they knew they belonged on the other side of that fence because they started walking back to it.

I'm told they are a heritage breed.
