Female Yellow Bellied Sapsucker
Lots better contrast when there aren't two panes of glass between the bird and me.
I really couldn't see any glint in the eye so I zoomed in on it and used the dodge tool set to midtones to lighten the area where I assumed the iris must be. Gives much more life to the bird.
