Our first visit to "Plant", a vegan restaurant, in Asheville, North Carolina. We are not vegans, but vegetarian wannabes who cheat a lot. We went to Plant because we had tasted their seitan skewers at "A Taste of Asheville", a grazing extravaganza put on yearly by the Asheville Independent Restaurant Association. This is a picture taken by Bill of his 'Villy Cheesesteak, featuring seitan, onion, pepper, mushroom, v1 steak sauce and mayo, (vegan) mozzarella, and romaine on a whole wheat hoagie roll. I'm assuming the mozzarella was non dairy. The skinny fries were so delicious they had me looking up French Fry Cutters on Amazon while we ate!
