_MG_3086 First Hawk

First one in 14 years that I've spied in my yard through my sliding door. It was surrounded by a couple of crows and unfortunately, the quickest longest lens available was a 70-200 on my 40D. This represents about 20% of the image since I had to crop so much. There were two crows near it in the same tree. They were approximately the same size.

Even with the crop it looks just fine. And it is an excellent catch, in its natural surroundings. Well done.
