GORGEOUS COLOR. I have photographed this room many, many times and rarely get that leather chair, or the carpeting the right color - the Oly gets it. This was processed from RAW, with the only slider moved being that for luminance noise reduction. It was cropped in Photoshop and uploaded at full size.
I'm convinced that raw photo color is a function of the sensor. Every make of camera uses something different. Some get "closer" to what our eyes see and just look better than others. But the only sure way to have truly accurate color on your monitor and prints is to use a color reference card and post process with a custom profile for the camera and lighting conditions. It can add a lot of work, granted, but short of doing it the final output will always boil down to the question of whether things "look right" or not. That said, this image does look very natural.
